Fuego Spice Mix
Makes 1 cup

Here's the rub: this fiery spice blend is perfect for seasoning grilled steaks, chops, chicken, and fish. Just rub it on the meat right before cooking. You can add a pinch to sautéed vegetables, too. Or use it to season homemade tortilla chips, French fries, or popcorn.

  • ¼ cup paprika
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chile powder
  • 2 tablespoons oregano

Combine all ingredients, mixing well. Store in an air-tight container, out of direct light, for up to 6 months.
